“This was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says co-owner Nikki Kinsey, “and one that will never be forgotten. How often do you get the chance to meet pioneers in this music genre, as well as the up and comers, AND be able to speak with them about your products? This experience was amazing.”

Each star is sent an invitation to the “Retreat” where they come to choose their gifts and speak with the sponsors representing the products. The event has become a treat for celebs to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax in the cozy, designer room. Among the celebrities in attendance were Motown legends The Commodores, Smokey Robinson, The Four Tops, The Funk Brothers and Gladys Night, as well as newer faces like The Backstreet Boys, Joss Stone, Macy Gray and Wayne Brady.

The event, scheduled to air on ABC in early May, was well covered by the media. The “Retreat” will be featured on the television shows Inside Edition, CNN, Fox News in LA; online at TheHollywoodScoop.com, E! Fashion Police, ETonline.com; and on the radio on Urban Radio Networks, WGCI and KJLH in California.
